 Homegrown Gardening Co-op of Wichita

Group Purpose: To provide a network and create a community of local (Wichita, Kansas) residents who are interested in helping one another in growing our own food, raising livestock (for eggs, milk, meat), canning/preserving, etc so that we may trade and barter with one another to support a healthier lifestyle in a more self-sustaining community. While most of our members share the Islamic faith, anyone is invited to join the co-op. You needn't have experience, we are here to pool our skills and help one another learn the ways of gardening, canning, preserving, sewing, recycling and other means of sustainable living.
