2012 Membership Registration Coming Soon!

This year Our Local Food will be introducing some great new features to the program including a new website, Savor the Season, opportunities to network with other farms and businessses, and many food activities.  Farms, food businesses, and farmers markets are encouraged to become members of Our Local Food to not only gain access to free or low cost marketing tools but help consumers easily find the locally grown or raised products they are looking for. 

This year members will recieve tools such as banners, produce & packaging stickers, full color printed price cards, access to the Our Local Food logo, and a listing on the Our Local Food website. Along with marketing tools, members will have the advantage of being honored guests at OLF activites and workshops where there will be opportunities to network with other farms, food businesses, and potential customers. 

Membership registration will be available at ourlocalfoodks.org once the new website is launched in March.  If you are interested in becoming a member and would like a reminder once registration is up on the web you may contact Natalie Fullerton at southcentral.olf@gmail.com or 402-310-0177.  In the mean time, you may download the 2012 membership packet complete with eligibility information, a participation agreement, and the membership pledge.

VOCAL LOCALS--Don't worry, we have not left out our all mighty local food supporters!  If you would like to participate in the program, we are looking for volunteers to help plan local food events!  To become an Our Local Food - South Central event volunteer, contact Natalie Fullerton at southcentral.olf@gmail.com or 402-310-0177.  To stay in the local food loop, sign up for the free email newsletter and get local food news, events, seasonal croverage of produce available, recipes and much more each month.  The new website will also have some great search features for those looking for local food.
