Volunteers Needed

Market goers placing dots on our posters.  Five questions are
asked, one on each poster.  Participants are given 5 dots to be
placed next to an answer that best describes the question.  It's
fun, quick, easy, and helps the market for future planning!
Want to get out of the house this Saturday morning and enjoy the fun culture of the Old Town Farmers Market?! Help the market by volunteering this Saturday, August 27th. Our Local Food - South Central will be assisting the market with a Rapid Market Assessment. Volunteers are needed to help hand out dots for the five question dot survey and to help tally market attendance. You can volunteer as little or as long as you like from 7am to noon. If you are interested please contact Natalie Fullerton at southcentral.olf@gmail.com or 402-310-0177, or Pat Randleas at otfm@sbcglobal.net. All Volunteers will receive one of the new OLF-SC tote bags!  Even if you are not planning to volunteer, be sure to "do the dots" to help the market with future planning!

Farmers' Market Week: Visit a farmers' market near you!

In honor of National Farmers' Market Week Aug. 7-13, take time to venture out and support Our Local Food - South Central members and other local producers who have been hard at work producing and providing superior quality food at farmers' markets all across the OLF - South Central Kansas region.  A sampling of some of the tasty items OLF- SC members have for sale at markets include: tomatoes (yes, our talented members do have some available in limited quantities, so get to the market early!), squash, cucumbers, onions, potatoes, eggplant, lavender, peppers, lamb, emu products, eggs, and so much more!

You will find OLF-SC farm members at 13 different markets across the OLF-SC region. Click on each market name below to find out more about it then mosey on over to our member directory list to see who's selling at each market!   Be sure to head on out to support some great folks working hard to bring you fresh, local food!
